BooksOpen Foundation is a tax-exempt non profit organization that sends relatively disadvantaged children to boarding schools in Tanzania. We run the project without pay and have the assistance of friends in Tanzania to organize for the children throughout the school year. At this stage, we can direct almost all of the contributions straight to the children and report back to you on their progress. Learn more here.

Currently, we are raising funds to pay tuition & board for the BooksOpen Scholars’ 2011 school-year.  We’ve seen wonderful results already, and hope that current supporters will renew and new sponsors will join the cause.
